*** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ***

This notice is to inform you, our patients, that effective March 4, 2022, Caitlin Cleland, PA-C will be leaving our practice. Mrs. Cleland has been a valued member of our team and we wish her the best in her new endeavors.

In order to provide a smooth transition of care, we have added Ansley Hiers, PA-C to our staff. Mrs. Hiers joined our practice in August of 2021 and has been orienting in all of our offices. Ansley is a Lowcountry native who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. She then completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she graduated with honors. During her time at the Medical University she did several rotations in dermatology, where she fell in love with the specialty. As a student, she volunteered at the Dream Center Dermatology free clinic, St. Andrews free clinic, as well as the MUSC CARES free clinic. Ansley is a member of the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

As a patient of our practice, your healthcare is very important to us. We understand that you have a choice in selecting your healthcare provider and we hope that you will elect to remain with our practice. As an established patient of the practice, your records will remain here. Our practice is staffed with seven additional dermatology providers who see patients across our three practice locations in Port Royal, Bluffton and Hilton Head. If you elect to continue your care with us, no action will be required on your part. If you choose to transition to care to a provider at another practice, please notify our front office staff and they will assist you with completing the necessary paperwork.
